Ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon, oh my! This recipe has powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients like spices and coconut oil. Ginger contains gingerol and turmeric contains curcumin, each shown to possess anti-inflammatory properties. Black pepper isn't usually the first ingredient someone would add to a smoothie, but it contains potassium and helps make the curcumin more effective. Besides, you'll hardly notice it thanks to the sweetness of the mango and banana!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Spinach
  • 1/2 Banana, frozen
  • 3/4 cup Mango, frozen chunks
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Root, fresh
  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric, fresh
  • 1 1/2 cup Almond Milk, vanilla, unsweetened
  • 1/2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter, no added salt
  • 2 tbsp Superfood Essentials Vanilla Plant-Based Protein
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper, ground

Directions
