nutribullet® cups, lids, lip rings, and blades are all top-rack, dishwasher safe. We recommend rinsing them before washing them in the dishwasher. Also, keep in mind that the sanitize cycle should never be used with washing these parts in the dishwasher as it may warp the plastic.
If you encounter a spill within the power base, immediately shut down and unplug the nutribullet®. Remove the blade and cup and with a damp sponge or towel, wipe up any spillage. Do not remove any parts from within the power base, simply clean around them.* A small brush may be used for a deeper clean but never submerge the power base in water and never put the power base in the dishwasher. Allow the power base to fully dry before using it again.
Wash your blades by hand with warm, soapy water and a dish brush to loosen any stuck-on debris. If you want a deeper clean, rinse the blade with a 10% dilute vinegar and water solution or lemon juice. We recommend hand washing over dishwashing as the heat from some dishwashers may damage the gaskets and cause them to loosen and fall out. Often people think that to properly clean their blade, they need to remove the gasket. Stop right there, the gasket should NEVER be removed from the blade. This loosens the gasket and makes it less effective at doing its job. Furthermore, disassembling your nutribullet® blade or power base will void your warranty.
It is recommended that you replace blades every 6 months if you use the nutribullet® regularly.
A 10% solution of bleach to water will remove the cloudiness. Fill the nutribullet® cup and allow it to sit for a short time, then empty, rinse, wash with warm soapy water and rinse again.
*Disclaimer: Disassembling your nutribullet® blade or power base will void your warranty.
