Red Velvet Smoothie

Beetroot is often used in red velvet cakes to give them their deep, red color, so they're the perfect ingredient for this mix. A little raw cacao rounds out the flavors and avocado adds not only creaminess and fluffiness but also a healthy dose of monounsaturated fatty acids, which are heart-healthy and anti-inflammatory. Could it get any better than that?

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Beet, raw
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp Stevia
  • 1 cup Almond Milk, unsweetened
  • 3 tbsp Cacao Powder

Directions
