Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

Dessert doesn’t have to weigh on your conscience, or your hips! This thick, velvety dessert smoothie is perfect as a meal replacement, post-workout recovery drink, or evening treat. Almond butter lends a creamy texture, along with a good amount of protein and healthy fats, shown to help reduce bad cholesterol and the risk of heart disease. Cherries also contain a hormone called melatonin, shown to help induce sleep and are renowned for their anti-inflammatory benefits. Finally, cacao adds that chocolaty goodness, as well as a ton of antioxidants to help your body battle harmful free radicals. With so much to offer, you might be making this recipe more than you think!

  • 1 1/2 cup Almond Milk, unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter, no added salt
