Homemade Cherry Grenadine

A well-stocked bar is not complete without a fruity syrup that adds a touch of sweetness and tartness to your favorite cocktails. Level up your at-home bartending skills with an easy-to-make cherry grenadine that calls for just three simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cherries (pitted) – halved
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Agave Nectar

Directions

Add 1 ½ cup water and the remainder of ingredients into a small pot or saucepan, and simmer for 20 minutes on low until it reduces by half. Set aside and let the cherry sauce cool completely.

Add the cherry sauce and the remaining ½ cup water to the Short Cup and blend until completely smooth.

Strain into an airtight jar and use grenadine to sweetened cocktails or use as a sauce for desserts.
